\"\"<\/a>The new baby is becoming a member of the group. The others show a careful interest, and Elif is watchfully protective.<\/p>\n

Elif may be a new mother, but that doesn’t mean that she changes in every respect. As always, she eagerly awaits the arrival of the day’s food treat. Babies are tolerated but not the centre of attention when there is food to be eaten – sensible priorities when you live with a greedy group like this!<\/p>\n

Capucine is still not eating any concentrate – and probably won’t until she is weaned. This means that both she and the new baby are free to wander around when the grown-ups are eating. And of course, that means that they can explore the humans who come to see (and film) them.<\/p>\n
